In 1991, Dennis Collier transformed the skating rink formerly known as Rinky Dink into the Sand Springs Skate Center. His family and roller skating career took him back to California; therefore he leased the business to various parties from 1998 on.
Dennis's son, Court, and daughter-in-law, Jenny Downey-Collier, decided to relocate from California and purchase the business from their father in 2007. After acquiring their degrees in Graphic Design and Business Administration the new generation of Colliers have created a modern vision for the newly named, SKATES.
